Congratulations to Andrew Gideon, Kevin Bartoszek, Robert Wagner, Michael Mundis, Kyle Wright on your promotion to Seargeant. These members have dedicated countless hours to the department and community. Beyond staffing units, they serve and lead on multiple department committees, such as Gear, Apparatus, and Building and Grounds committees.<\/p>\n

Chief Schiro made these five promotions at this month\u2019s quarterly company meeting. For the first time in the department history, he enacted the rank of Sergeant, which is a rank before Lieutenant. These members are expected to complete courses within one year to be promoted to Lieutenant.<\/p>\n

These promotions reflect their hard work and commitment to the department and their willingness to always go above and beyond what is expected of them. As Sergeants they will provide first-line supervision, training, and mentoring of their crews and support senior leadership in all operational aspects.<\/p>\n
